RPF Nagpur Division Reunited 207 Minors with Family
Nagpur: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Nagpur division reunited 207 children (120 boys and 87 girls) with their families under ‘Operation Nanhe Faristey'. Similarly, RPF personnel saved seven lives, displaying exceptional courage under ‘Operation Jeevan Raksha'.
RPF's efforts under ‘Operation Aahat' resulted in the registration of two human trafficking cases, rescue of nine children and arrest of six accused. Under ‘Operation NARCOS', RPF seized 444.156kg of ganja worth Rs64.52 lakh and arrested 11 offenders.
Cracking down on illicit liquor under ‘Operation Satark', around 64 cases were detected with 9,857 liquor bottles valued at Rs12.40 lakh, and 36 persons were apprehended. In the anti-touting drive ‘Operation Uplabdh', around 76 cases were registered, 1,251 tickets seized worth Rs31.46 lakh, and 88 touts arrested.
Under ‘Operation Amanat', 464 lost luggage cases were recovered, valued at Rs94.10 lakh, and promptly returned to rightful owners. ‘Operation Dignity' led to the rescue of 51 vulnerable individuals, while ‘Operation Matrishakti' provided timely aid to a pregnant woman.
Additionally, 96 theft cases of passenger belongings were solved with 113 arrests, showcasing effective policing and swift action by RPF teams.
